About me
I have been working as a photographer for a past eight years in Cape Town, and have recently completed my Master’s in Digital Curation. My dissertation focused on digital cultural heritage in the context of African museums. My interests in art, archiving, digitisation and the digital humanities have all collided in this exciting new field. At work, I have learned to wear many hats. I juggle multiple jobs and clients, and I can happily work alone or in a team. I’m good with people, and I love problem-solving. I’m a quick learner and I work well under pressure. I’m creative but I manage and organise my time and my clients. I recognise my strengths and my weaknesses, and I love learning. Recently, I realised that I want my career to evolve, and I began my MPhil. Digital Curation is a new field that excites me to no end. It is the interface between art and digital, and it encompasses so much of what I am inspired by.
