About me
I am a freelance creative copywriter at Playing with Words and the former copywriter at Puffin Books, a division of Penguin Random House Children’s. As the voice of Puffin, I wrote a variety of copy for book jackets, websites, marketing campaigns and more, across a stellar list of authors, illustrators and brands including Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake, Puffin Classics, Jacqueline Wilson and Beatrix Potter. Since going freelance in October 2014, I've worked with numerous publishers and brands, including Pottermore by J.K. Rowling, Enid Blyton Entertainment via Hachette Children’s, Puffin Books, Ladybird Books, World Book Day, BBC Worldwide, How to Train Your Dragon, Canongate, Hodder & Stoughton and more. From award-winning campaigns for Pottermore to reliving my childhood writing blurbs for Roald Dahl and the Famous Five, Malory Towers and Secret Seven series’, I work with some of the very best talent in the books and entertainment industry.
