Double first class honours, BA English LiteratureUniversity of Cambridge, King's College
- Cambridge, United Kingdom
I undertook my bachelor's degree in English Literature at the University of Cambridge, achieving double first class honours overall. In my second year, I received a scholarship for academic excellence, and in my final year exams, achieved the highest mark in my academic year (81) on the Practical Criticism paper, an exam which tests the ability of students to closely analyse, interrogate and write about unseen texts.
My specialist interest whilst studying was the intersections between text, poetry and art. This was my focus for my final year dissertation on the work of sculptor/poet/artist Ian Hamilton Finlay, for which I also achieved first class honours.
