About me
Passionate about art, current affairs, culture and the environment. Sasha Halsey works as a Lecturer in Fashion at Solent University, previously studying an MA in Creative Direction for Fashion and Beauty and graduated with a BA (Hons) Fashion Styling Degree (First Class Honours) from Southampton Solent University in 2015. Sasha is a media and communication professional with a demonstrated history of working in the apparel, fashion and beauty industry. Skilled in fashion styling, make-up artistry, creative direction and art. Committed to pushing boundaries within the industry, expanding society’s idealistic approach to beauty.

    Sasha Halsey works as a lecturer in fashion at Solent University, working primarily on BA (Hons) Fashion Styling and Creative Direction and BA (Hons) Fashion Photography courses as part of the core team; teaching in the School of Art, Design and Fashion for four years across levels four, five and six. During this time Sasha has worked both as an associate lecturer and lecturer in fashion, helping to bridge the gap between theory and practice whilst teaching across several undergraduate degrees including; BA (Hons) Beauty Promotion, BA (Hons) Make-Up and Hair Design, BA (Hons) Fashion Photography and BA (Hons) Fashion Management and Marketing. Sasha also achieved an associate fellowship with the Higher Education Academy in 2019. Sasha has a demonstrated history of running workshops for international students and exchange programmes that focus on designing interactive and creative spaces to engage with fashion and beauty topics.
