● Developing and delivering the marketing and audience development strategy to raise awareness of the Courthouse and increase footfall both in the use of the building and participation in workshops and attendance at performances;
● Overseeing and developing the brand of the Courthouse in all digital environments, including updating the website in liaison with the Centre Director;
● Writing and producing the Otley Courthouse twice yearly programme, both paper based and digital, which includes all events and activities taking place;
● Keeping up to date with local/regional and national trends and creating new initiatives which are relevant;
● Developing relationships with the local press and media and writing weekly press releases;
● Updating and increasing engagement with all aspects of social media;
● Setting up audience development initiatives and liaising with organisations, schools and community groups to build partnerships;
● Working with the Centre Director and Programme Manager to ensure a wide range of creative events, workshops and activities are offered;
● Liaising with Board members and the Centre Director to agree and seek sources of funding;
● Overseeing the volunteer staff members;
● Using Mailchimp to deliver and optimise email communications, including writing and distributing newsletters;
● Ensuring the ticketing software database is up to date and accurate;
● In collaboration with the Programmer to collate, produce, mail and distribute the season brochure.

● Overseeing and updating all social media accounts, managing a regular content posting schedule of event and lifestyle promotions and reviewing analytics to assess success and recommend improvements;
● Promoting the brand and gathering and creating suitable content to reach the target audiences;
● Developing strategies to increase followership and engagement;
● Assisting in managing the website content;
● Proposing and managing events – most notably a live music night which involves liaising and booking musicians, equipment hire, promotion and hosting the events;
● Writing, implementing and reporting on email marketing campaigns and writing press releases;
● Monitoring and responding to comments and direct messages;
● Collaborating with other team members in Graphic Design and Marketing to cross-promote events;
● Increasing the social media presence and turnover of the Cantina restaurant; notably achieving a write up of the Cantina in Mob Kitchen, Leeds-list; and other publications;
● Assisting with the opening of a new Cantina site through promotional activities and liaison with the venue owners.
● Curating, booking, managing and promotion of ‘the walls’, an art exhibition space within Old Red.
