A focussed and driven recent Ba Photography graduate specialising in fashion based editorial and music events work. Since graduating I have been working on a freelance basis, carrying out contracts for companies such as Rains London, DHP Family and Detonate Promotions Ltd, as well as working with clothing models to produce editorial work to build on my continuingly expanding portfolio. I have gained a great deal of experience from working professionally in the fashion and music photography industries and am well versed in the ability to meet varying client expectation, working to demanding deadlines and overseeing the full process of generating content from pre-production to output and distribution.

During the three years I spent studying photography at university I spent most of my time working on my own fashion based projects mainly shooting on locations that I scouted out myself to fit the urban fashion style of photography that I specialise in. Along side this mainly in my final year, I made sure that I was attending as many studio workshops as possible to ensure that I was gaining a good understanding of how studio photography operated, from the set up of lighting to the workflow softwares that were involved in the post production of images such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge. Towards the end of my photography course I had realised that I had gained a fascination for the post production editing through the images that I was making for my final project, so much so that this ended up being the main focus for my final project that I was awarded a 2:1 grade by my tutors. I ended up deciding on making eight images that I had shot of male and female models with a focus on showcasing particular clothing brands then carefully colour editing them with layer masks in Photoshop then cropped, put back together and layered onto desaturated street images that I had taken from a recent trip to Japan in an abstract way to create visually striking final images. This work was exhibited in a Rough Trade venue in Nottingham City centre and during this week period my work was scouted out and chosen by external invigilators to be exhibited at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick lane London for the annual Free Range festival along side other chosen students work from different universities throughout the country.
