About me
I am deeply passionate about music and all aspects of the arts, as well as enhancing the local music community My life has not only revolved around music since I was a child, but also has involved me immersing myself in all things creative. In my spare time I enjoy painting, videography, designing, photography and skateboarding - All of which possess their own sense of creativity and help me view the world through different lenses. In addition to that, I experience synesthesia which I've realised enables me to come to creative conclusions from a unique perspective. I currently freelance as a DJ at several venues in and around Swansea and I’m looking forward to more gigs booked in the future. I worked for twelve years in a technical sound and lighting role at a reputable music venue in Swansea, I learned a lot through my time there and gained invaluable amounts of experience in the industry. After the pandemic, I went on to deepen my customer service skills and started work in a new and demanding environment at an independent craft brewery. From DJing and supporting the likes of David Rodigan, Craig Charles, Ms. Dynamite and AJ Tracey to rigging stage and lighting artists such as Skindred, Shy FX, Lower Than Atlantis and Stormzy. Every year has brought about exciting and unforgettable experiences. I also created and curated the weekly Tuesday night at Sin City Nightclub called 'Hustle'. Since its inception in 2015 it has become a staple for student night-life in the city center and is regularly at capacity. This role enabled me to delve into my passion for musical history and showcasing in front of an audience. As well as being part of production crew and DJing, I have also spent the past 18 years playing around the country in various bands. Having played with Hot Mass, releasing our debut album in 2016, touring Europe twice and supporting the likes of The Menzingers, The Front Bottoms, The Bouncing Souls and Drug Church. Our second album was released in the UK, EU & US in 2022 along with music videos, plays on BBC Radio Wales and featured on Craig Charles' BBC Radio 2 show.
