  Potato Head Bali Komitmen Event.Does waste have the potential to hold cultural value and form new material landscapes? We were invited by the Potato Head Family to participate in their KOMITMEN event to help build responsible futures in and around Bali.
• Converse RENEW.What does it mean to renew a classic? Seen Displays and Ma-tt-er collaborated with Converse on the launch of their first RENEW Converse style, a shoe made from recycled plastic bottles and rubber. The launch in Coal Drops Yard was host to a series of educational events which questioned current and future uses of plastic in footwear.

  Why Materials MatterA book I had the privilege to write to open up a wider dialogue around the impact materials can make. ‘Why Materials Matter’, a book written by Seetal Solanki and published by Prestel tackles this critical statement by discussing potential materials related solutions to the ecological, social and economical issues faced by human beings today.
