Most business problems have cultural root causes behind them. We need to understand the problem before solving it and in many cases business solutions to those problems cost more time, money and effort. In a cultural system, there's always a leverage point that can help you solve the problem faster, cheaper and with less effort. Our job is to find that spot that moves things and solves your problem. That's why we are sensemakers.
We cannot solve new problems with old solutions.
We need to see the world with new eyes.

I have founded pakt sensemaking agency first in 2014 in Istanbul and later in 2018 in London. Our main value proposition is to assist our clients in making sense of cultural systems. This could be a new market that you are targeting and/or an existing market that you'd want to refresh your strategy on.

I have the mindset to observe and strategize on complex environments thanks to my Air Force Academy training to become a jet pilot. At the Air Force Academy, we learned gained strategic thinking, complex problem solving and systems thinking skills.
I have followed this passion by studying my undergraduate degree on Cultural Studies, which was followed by master's degree on Interdisciplinary Studies at The New School for Social Research (NSSR) in New York City as a Fulbright Scholarship Grantee.
My time at NSSR helped me to deepen my understanding of interdisciplinarity, where I took classes from inspiring thinkers such as Julia Kristeva, Christopher Hitchens, Jim Miller, Anthony Gottlieb, Ann Laura Stoler among others. Here, I excelled my ability to make use of different perspectives on complex issues.

Since then I have worked in strategy, marketing and insights in many different sectors and companies that are ranging from brand agencies to Change.org, from directing election campaigns on social media to university lecturing. This broad range of knowledge and experience on different disciplines is the backbone of my ability to make sense of complex, implicit cultural systems.
