I was born (and raised in his formative years) in Cape Town, South Africa. From the age of eight I was brought up between both Australia and New Zealand. I emigrated back to South African in 2012, where I studied as a photographer. I continue to work as a freelance photographer in Cape Town today, specialising in documentary, travel, lifestyle and portrait photography as well as working in the film industry as a videographer and camera operator. I am a passionate creative who loves photography, film, music, art and travel. I have a strong need for my work to have meaning and tell a story in some way. From January 2020 I will be residing in London, UK, on an 5 year ancestral visa.

Since 2016, I have worked extensively with the Regency Foundation Network as a local and international stills photographer. More recently I was given the opportunity to shoot two episodes of their new series ‘SA Inc.’ for Old Mutual and Shell. Regency Foundation is responsible for the creation of several award-winning corporate documentary series for both local South African clients, as well as international companies/clients, such as Dell, Maersk and Citi Bank. As part of this team I have travelled and worked extensively throughout Africa and overseas.
