I graduated with a 2.1 in Sociology from the University of Glasgow in 2017 after which I spent 6 months backpacking in South America. I am seeking a job in the avenue of marketing and/or PR which will incorporate my creative mind and people skills.

in this internship I experienced a regular daily routine in an office environment. I worked as part of a team, providing input for promotional campaigns and attention-grabbing advertisements as well as artist and venue bookings. I was also responsible for the pitching and selling of tickets to potential buyers of 5 different cities across the UK. The company had multiple competitors and so I had to accentuate the benefits of the events I was selling over those of our competitors. I learned to multitask, juggle multiple projects and organise myself.

in this role I assisted the GUSA Marketing Department in their marketing campaign to promote Nike as the official university kit provider and in their development of the new gym. This included photo shoots, merchandise giveaways, online promotion, speaking to prospective pupils at open days as well as spreading the word of how involvement in sports can benefit each student. I learned to simultaneously promote the university and Nike in ways that could benefit both enterprises.
