About me
A recent visual arts-related field in Culture, Criticism, and Curation Graduate with a First Class Honours Degree from the University of Arts London at Central Saint Martins, looking to secure a position in a visual arts environment.
As the communication sector evolves fast, the creative industry is significant to the United Kingdom and the rest of the world. As a graduate, I want to pursue a creative interest to develop the skills taught in my career, spanning the disciplines of publishing, advertising, public relations, media communications, photography, and journalism.
My degree allowed me to establish a solid theoretical background in cultural studies, art history, journalism philosophy, exhibition histories, and fashion. I know well about Adobe software, Microsoft programs, and social media. Through Several university projects, I co-managed and curated exhibitions and events in galleries and museums, which helped me to develop communication and organisation skills.
At University, I examined how historical narratives are formed, de-formed, and re-formed in the present and how these shifts are represented and embodied through diverse media, cultural spaces, and forms.
I worked with Frieze Magazine and shared its insights on running an Instagram-based art project in workshops. This workshop offered approaches to initiate dialogues around challenging and sensitive histories concerning social justice. Furthermore, it allowed me to question and problematise how we create/ curate a safe(r) or braver space for our audiences where collections touch on challenging and sensitive histories.

After my A-Levels, I studied for a foundation degree in Fashion and Communication at Kensington Chelsea College (2017-18), which was recently converted to Morley College London - Chelsea Centre. I was lucky to be able to work on industry projects and also complete a work experience placement at London Fashion Week. I attended & participated in extensive rehearsals for the fashion runway show, dressed models into and out of garments for the runway, and managed feedback. During my time here, I learned how to diffuse situations of dissatisfaction and worked alongside superiors and managers to ensure tasks were operated smoothly and efficiently.
