Born in Australia, raised in England (between Bristol and London) and having lived in Sri Lanka I stand at the intersection of many cultures and try to reflect this in my work and design aesthetic.
Projects
- Shana.I created a website for my photography. Instagram is a great platform to display my work, however not everyone has it and those who do may not use it for its intended purpose. It is also a platform which is saturated with imagery, so I wanted to take my photographs out of this context and into one where they could be viewed solely as a collection. Whereby, allowing the onlooker to take their time scanning over the visual, catch little details and ultimately decide whether they like or dislike it
- Nike + Training ClubNike + Training Club Problem: Promote a healthy lifestyle and get more people active with Nike + Training Club Insight: Londoners are busy people, always on the grind with very little time to work out and get fit. Nike + Training Club App offers them an alternative, with a personal trainer on the go Solution: From our understanding of the target audience, we chose an ambient execution, promoting Get Fit anywhere, anytime.
- IFuelBrief: Futurising Problem: I-phone apps and excessive use drains the battery life very fast, leaving users angry. Insight: No working App on the market has the ability to boost battery life. Solution: I-Fuel, the app that converts your anger (sound waves) into battery life to power your phone, when and where you need it. Working as a hostess part time; meeting and greeting people as well as general hospitality work

Roles included writing articles for their travel publication 'Tripin', admin tasks, graphic design and photography jobs. I was also involved in team meetings where I was able to introduce new ideas and help with upcoming and ongoing projects.
