- Butterfly DetailsThis project was based upon butterflies, but i didn't want it to be obvious so focussed on close up details as well as layering up motifs to distort them. I created this project using laser cutting techniques as well and hand stitch and applique, along with a variety of different materials to bring interest to the collection.
- The New NatureThis was a brief I completed as a part of my second year of university. This project was based on the competition brief set by Hand and Lock, The New Nature. I decided to base my project on a woodland focussing on mushrooms and the close up shapes and textures. Techniques I used to create this project were applique, hand embroidery, machine embroidery, laser cutting and fabric manipulation
- Fluorescent FairgroundsThis project was the first project of my final year at university. I based this project on fairgrounds focussing on the bright colours and bold geometric shapes fond within them. For this project the techniques I used were digital print, laser cutting, hand stitch, pleating, fabric manipulation and applique.
