My name is Shannon Moyer, and I'm looking for my next challenge. I am a trained journalist, social media professional and graphic designer based in London, England (but always comfortable working remotely).
Holding degrees from both US and UK journalism programmes, I am also adept at navigating media law in both countries and writing for a specialised audience.
Most recently, I was a staff journalist and the social media manager for Accountancy Age, Financial Director, The Global Treasurer and Bobsguide. While comfortable working in the financial/fintech space, I am equally as comfortable diving into lifestyle journalism or harnessing my marketing skills to produce excellent copy.
While my journalistic passions revolve around disability, botany, sexual and mental health, social justice and sexuality, I simply love a creative challenge. From targeted social media ads to long-form features, I'm your writer!
When I'm not writing or designing, you can find me scouring TikTok for trends, painting murals, or exploring England's countryside.

From 2016 - 2017, I was the Feature Editor for the student-run newspaper, The Liberty Champion. Additionally, my team received an Award of Merit from the EPA in 2017 for the Champion's digital editions.
