About me
I'm an award-winning beauty journalist, brand consultant and copywriter. I am currently the beauty director at Stylist, was previously beauty editor at i-D and before that, deputy editor at Byrdie. I am also co-founder of Painted Women, a study of global beauty culture, and am currently working towards an MA in Visual Sociology. ​ I like to look at beauty through a social lens, navigating the intersection between beauty rituals and popular culture to provide thoughtful, intellectual commentary on the beauty industry. Experienced in working with some of the biggest brands in beauty, I'm available for consultancy work as well as copy writing, including the creation of engaging product copy, targeted press releases and intelligent, valuable brand editorial copy, such as blog posts or branded articles.
