I am a Taiwanese Junior designer, who holds both bachelor’s and master’s degree in Fine Arts and over 6+ years of professional experience as a Junior Art Curator and 4 years at graphic design area. For last 4 years, I have been branding for several international companies’s brands, taking creative services jobs from local galleries and had a year work experience in a fast-paced design studio. Thanks to previous work experience and classes I attend, I have worked across many different touch points; creative campaigns, art direction, graphic design, visual design, editorial design, Animation and some lovely branding projects too. I am comfortable with Mac OSX as well as Windows. During my tenure with my present and previous employers, I have had the opportunity to develop and hone my skills in typography and different areas of visual design. By all means, I have equipped in-depth knowledge about almost all top designing software, including the following: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, CorelDraw Graphic Suite, Flash, Sketch and had 3 years experience in using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier and Flash at work.
Equipping both good communication and listening skills are paramount for helping me to interpret customer briefs into a well- drafted plan then to completion, always excel in both oral and written communication in English. Each work experience has strengthened my customer skills and negotiation skills, always able to express the execution of an idea in quick and effective visual terms, starting from storyboarding a moving piece to sketching out a design for a logotype, through to creating a brand or product tool kit . In additional, always be able to adhere to brand guidelines, complete time sheets and take initiative at work are the doctrine that I have been following for years as a self-motivated Artworker/Junior Designer. I am a good team player to the core but also at complete ease when working alone. I also identified myself as a super positive and motivated human being, who wants to learn, grow and push myself to go the extra mile.
The work in universities, design studio and galleries has given me varied skills including facing and overcoming difficult problems at work, as well as the ability to work with variety customer. It also taught me how to build a friendly yet efficient rapport and communication. Vice President of my graduate school’s student association was built up administrative techniques as a leader, I strengthened Multi-tasking skills by working with 5 student groups to planning tasks on and learned how to prioritise items that were needed immediately and to identify advocacy goals, discover, shared opportunities, resolve conflicts. Besides, I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to details. I believe I could fit into your team very quickly.
