About me
Every brand has a story to tell - a cohesive narrative that illustrates the facts and feeling of a brand. I am a creative that is fascinated by exploring ways in which brands could showcase their story to their audience. During my studies, I recognised how the 'Creative Sharifah’ at times stood as ‘the odd one out’ in the class. This is a fundamental aspect of my character that I am proud of as it drives me to strive to think outside the box and explore ways in which I can push the boundaries. My curiosity drives me to be a lifelong learner. I am currently seeking to encounter an opportunity to work in a creative and challenging environment, which will not only allow me to bring the skills that are required of me but will also encourage my personal and professional growth.

  • 'THE FASHIONED BODY EXPERIENCE'
'THE FASHIONED BODY EXPERIENCE'A hypothetical art direction project for the avant garde fashion brand, Boudicca Platform 13, aiming to seek to examine the relationship between fashion (clothing) and the body. Inspired by the act of sex, to stand as a symbolic reflection to sensations and desires that may possibly experience when the female body wears clothing that allows them to showcase their sexual identity. The film captures the pleasures and desires, experienced by the female body during them embodying these two opposing sexual roles, Pretty Maiden and Dominatrix.
  • MALAYA
MALAYAMalaya is a personal reflection of my journey researching the enslavement of Black Africans during the Arab slave trade, specifically focusing on the sexualization of women, illustrating both the abuse and discrimination of female slaves and sexualization of women within the Arab community.
