I am an experienced marketing and communications professional, mainly in the area of digital marketing. I have worked across a number of campaigns and projects utilising a variety of skills such as: paid and organic social media, SEO optimisation, content production, writing and editing, email and marketing automation, graphic design, paid search and analytics/reporting.
A specialist role in digital content management and production, requiring a high level of expertise in writing, editing and optimising content for web and digital channels. This also includes creating and authoring webpages within a content management system. The project requires liaison with stakeholders across the University, to ensure content enhances the user experience, and is tailored to the audience and customer journey.
Responsible for maintaining and building the Innovation & Collaboration Centre’s brand, and implementing the agreed upon business development and communications strategy, including related projects and activities specified in the annual plan, covering communications, public relations, brand management and marketing administration.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the University’s web presence, along with implementation of digital marketing strategies and solutions. Also requires technical expertise in overseeing a range of digital marketing activities for the University including the websites, landing page creation, content optimisation, user experience, website information architecture, paid search, analytics and reporting, email marketing, paid social media advertising and marketing automation.
Responsible for supporting several marketing functions, including event delivery, producing print and other communications material and web copy updates, as well as providing marketing administration such as managing asset banks (photographs, etc).
A dynamic role involving an array of digital marketing projects with business clients across South Australia. I was also the lead liaison with local clients. Main tasks involved content writing, SEO optimisation, liaison with web developers and general content writing training for clients.
I managed the organic and paid social media for a number of local small and medium sized businesses. This role also involved training business owners on how to use social media to achieve their goals, as well as assist them in developing coherent and usable social media strategies.
