This organization offers learning interventions for students who are struggling to maintain satisfactory academic progress. As a clinician, I was responsible for implementing empirically supported techniques in order to help improve a variety of skills in the areas of reading and writing.
As a research intern I was involved in a variety of projects, many of which were qualitative in nature. My contributions commonly included data collection and interpretation, literature searches, writing and editing, and data entry.
•I assisted students, alumni, and professionals with various writing tasks. My goal was to help people become better writers and thinkers. I helped with writing across many disciplines at every stage of the writing process: brainstorming, organizing, understanding assignments/topics, researching, drafting, editing, etc •On an extensive research project concerning writing pedagogy, I acted as an assistant to the program coordinator by thoroughly reviewing and organizing relevant documents. This required careful, detail-oriented work as well as the real-world application of critical thinking skills.
