About me
I am a highly motivated person who enjoys learning new skills and developing my existing skills set. I am a hard-working, ambitious and self-driven individual who has a positive attitude when assigned responsibilities. To add, I have an excellent attention to detail.
I am a student who has interrupted from university, studying BA Fashion Photography, and will be returning in autumn 2023. Therefore, this internship will help to expand my knowledge. In addition, I am flexible.
As a Photographer, I have explored the different themes of photography and combined different elements together. I have done this in ‘Who draws the gap between the people (2021)’ where I created a fictional-documentary series looking at the effects of COVID-19 on two people in different classes. Fashion photography was largely used to show the difference in clothes. In addition, I created a series called ‘Chimera (2020)’ where I combine fashion, cinema and still life. This series relates back to my love of cinema, which I try to incorporate in all my work.
I have ventured out of Photography and created a short film called ‘Black is Beautiful’ where I explore the beauty of being black. This opened my eyes on the different techniques of film.

BA Fashion PhotographyUCA Rochester

Studying BA (Hons) Fashion Photography
Studying at university has enabled me to explore contemporary fashion photography and has enabled me to produce creative work, using the industry-standard facilities that the university offers.
In Year One, I recapped on the basics and learn new skills such as using medium and large format cameras, colour darkroom and working in a studio. In addition, I learnt how to scan film and print. This helped me understand the fundamentals that have led me to further explore these methods on my own terms.
In Year Two, I have learnt how to create a moving image in the Fashion Film project. Additionally, I learnt how to work in a group in the Exposure: Positioning project (20/21) and this has further expanded on the skills that I will need in the industry.
