About me
Hi, I’m Shey
I like to keep things short & sweet so that’s exactly what this is going to be! :)
I grew up in south west London surrounded by culture, love and support. Growing up in this environment has made me the creative I am today, allowing me to express myself freely and have a variety of valuable life experiences that are shown through my work.
For as long as I can remember I’ve always been interested in creative processes and expressing myself imaginatively; because of this I spent my education studying subjects such as fine art and graphic design. I recently graduated from Coventry university in illustration and graphics. However, during my years at uni I developed a passion for advertising, marketing and branding. I loved the concept of reaching people and provoking emotion through creativity.
After I graduated I spent the summer of 2021 at an amazing programme called Brixton Finishing School, during the course I developed digital marketing skills and participated in a blend of masterclasses, workshops, talks and personal development training.
I now use my creativity to develop concepts, visuals and strive to consistently push myself to learn new things to inspire my work.
