Shigeki Yamamoto was born in 1979 in the Osaka prefecture of Japan & studied interior designat the Osaka Sogo College of Design. After graduating in 2000 he worked under Nobuyuki Tachibana, a Japanese iron sculptor. Shigeki Yamamoto also held a number of solo and group exhibitions as a metal furniture creator.Since moving to Germany in 2006 he trained as a carpenter & has focussed on woodwork.His original brand “Shigeki YAMAMOTO” was launched in Berlin in 2010 . This brings a sense of fun into daily life while maintaining his love of quality.He tries to keep a spiritual richness in his works in the face of todays industrialized mass production.
