I am photographer currently residing in Dundee, Scotland. I am originally from Ireland and graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee in 2020.
I work both with analog film and digital. I've spent the last year working as a Marketing Assistant for a local Social Enterprise gaining experience in Brand Awareness, Social Media Content Creation and Management, Campaign Management and working on nationwide trading opportunities.
Projects
- Product Photography - J-RAO Contemporary ApothecaryA project taken under the management of Women's Business Station, I carried out some product photography for a member Jennifer, owner of J-RAO Contemporary Apothecary. The brief was to mirror the core values of the brand keeping it pure, bright and in line with sustainability.
- Mac Love - ScotlandHaving not much experience with brand photography, I reached out in the summer of 2020 to a local food truck, Mac Love, to see if I could try my hand it! I worked both with film and digital photography in this shoot and I think they proved quite successful. With this imagery, owner Jo has claimed that these photographs helped boost her marketing to secure future trading events!
- Go Forth and be FruitfulA photographic collaboration between myself and Gregory Sutherland. 'Go Forth and be Fruitful' is a series based on Adam within the garden of Eden. However, this time Adam is a gay man making is way through a man-made, eden. One image from the series made the Scottish Portraiture Award's Longlist Exhibition (2020).

Marketing AssistantWomen's Business Station
Dundee St, London, UKFull Time
I joined the Women’s Business Station team back in March of 2021 as a Social Media Assistant as a part of the government’s Kickstarter scheme. Here, I learned how to develop, implement and manage a marketing strategy across all channels including Web, Email, and Social Media platforms that include LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. In September, my title changed to Marketing Assistant and I began taking on more responsibility within my role of marketing. While at WBS, I was a part of running trading pop-up stores in both St James Quarter Edinburgh, and the Metrocentre, Newcastle with the company Sook Spaces. I worked autonomously on the designing the interior of these pop ups which included screens that spanned the perimeter of the store. I had to ensure that our branding was present along with that of our members throughout our stay at these trading locations. We were recently nominated for a CeeD Award for our marketing campaign surrounding our Sook adventures. I found this experience was a great challenge in terms of adapting to new tasks and environments and I enjoyed these events thoroughly. I've been a part of running a campaign that has raised over £8,000 for our programme and courses that help women from lower socio-economic circumstances. I'm always trying to come up with new ideas on how to engage with our followers and create content that's worth seeing. I have experience in working with Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom along with social media scheduling suites such as Sprout and Later. Throughout my time at WBS, I have used my skills as a Photographer to help support and market the company. Not only this, but I've had experience in branding photography for other small businesses within our membership. Although I have no marketing qualifications, I've gained so much already in my year with Women's Business Station - I've had a well rounded experience of what it means to run a business, and how to ensure it is seen and heard.
