Shifted start of production cycle forward by one month and created full year plan across all four magazines which reduced overtime by 50%. - Managed company rebranding from Fast Media to Hong Kong Living, including new digital strategy: created new group website based on data from Google Analytics, with new features such as live chat and an online shop. Revamped Facebook pages and weekly e-newsletters.     - Managed public sector engagement at Group General Manager level, focusing on regulatory reform. - Wrote briefings for senior management in preparation for events, e.g. World Economic Forum, Treasury Select Committee. - Led a group-wide project on financial inclusion, sponsored by the Group Head of Government Affairs. Represented HSBC at an international conference on the subject at Harvard Business School. Provided briefing for two articles published in The Economist. Developed a commercial proposal with the Association of British Credit Unions to provide banking services in exchange for 70 percent of the UK’s credit union deposits. - Shaped EU financial services legislation, including EMIR and MiFID II. Wrote HSBC’s response to the European Commission’s review of the supervisory system, raising key issues which were cited in the Commission’s final report. - Supported HSBC’s representative at the City of London’s initiative on London as a centre for RMB business. Successfully lobbied the Bank of England to establish a swap line with the People’s Bank of China to facilitate RMB trading in London. - Managed HSBC’s memberships of Chatham House and Asia House. Organised three conferences to demonstrate HSBC’s expertise in Asia, trade, infrastructure finance and green bonds. Over 200 influential attendees, including HSBC’s Group Chairman, the UK Minister for Trade and Investment and Deputy Director General of the WTO.
