About me
Originally from Wales, U.K, now based in Herefordshire I have been a Freelance Illustrator since 2012. I admire so many artists but in particular I love the sweet and sophisticated nature of Beatrix Potters work and the vibrant expressive drawings of Quentin Blake. I am driven by my love of what I do and my desire to continually refine my skills. My work celebrates traditional drawing and stems from a fluidity of line. I strive to capture the essence of a character and the emotion that the narrative evokes. I am experienced at weaving fantasy into a real setting. Over the years I have worked on many Children's Books, Educational Books, Wildlife, Nature and Character Illustrations for Cards, Prints and Wedding Stationary. I am naturally enthusiastic and I am attentive and open in my communication. I will always go the extra mile to make sure I am hitting the right note just for you.
