In 2011 I started Studio B, a branding and interior design studio, with co-founder Kyle Clarke. I took care of design and art working, account management, interior design and painted murals in restaurants. As our client base has grown, my role has evolved and I now lead marketing and PR, consult on business growth and support the management team.
B's creations have been featured by the likes of Design Week, Bar Magazine, Design Curial and Gestalten.
In 2013, I started contemporary stationers Papersmiths and I lead the marketing, growth, buying and finance of the e-commerce and two bricks and mortar stores. I source products from designers and makers across the globe and have travelled to New York, Paris, Barcelona, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Berlin and Copenhagen in pursuit of stationery.
I've been interviewed about stationery by the likes of Stylist, the National Stationery Show and The Shopkeepers. Papersmiths and our products have been featured by Gestalten, Cereal Magazine and Buzzfeed. I've talked business with Sky News and the Financial Times.
I'm always seeking to learn and develop through experience. I started 2017 driving around New Zealand's North Island in a camper van. Since then I've attended The Do Lectures in Cardigan, Wales, run the Camp Shop at Port Eliot Festival in Cornwall and gone to Obonjan in Croatia for a holistic retreat.
