About me
I am a graphic designer with over 10 years experience working in a variety of sectors and for a wide range of employers, as well as operating as a freelancer for numerous clients. I am skilled in the use of the Adobe Creative, and have a great working knowledge of the MS Office package. I studied graphic design at the University of Buenos Aires and was awarded a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Art and Design in 2007. After graduating I worked in my native Argentina for various employers ranging from book and magazine publishers to local authorities, creating high quality print and display advertising. I pride myself on getting ‘under the skin’ of each company I work with, striving to fully understand its core marketing messages as well as the underlying aspects of its existing visual identities and cultures. Since my arrival in London I have worked with a number of high profile clients including the BBC; independent theatre company Oily Cart; Wimbledon Art Studios and CALM Magazine, which I helped win Publication of the Year at the 2013 Public Sector Communication Awards. For these companies I have helped develop new brand visuals, and created a range of promotional material including leaflets, brochures, e-blasts, web banners and press adverts. I am able to turn work around quickly and carefully, making sure to conform to publication specifications, and provide supporting documentation where necessary. For the last few years I have been working as a freelancer, helping clients realize their visual aspirations. This has taught me how to quickly assume a range of corporate identities and styles, adhering to brand guidelines and following them faithfully. My recent work designing presentations and marketing materials for the BBC, one of the biggest brands in the world, is evidence of my ability to comply with stringent brand guidelines while also maintaining creativity. One of the most important aspects of my career has been cultivating good client relations: managing budgets, deadlines, expectations and multiple projects simultaneously. Often my role extends beyond that of a pure designer, giving me the opportunity to source printers and manage their delivery of final artwork to ensure best value and quality for my clients. I am used to creating and delivering progress reports to all project stakeholders, from senior management to team members, to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
