Triggered from my work on Emblzn I have deep interest in the development of multichannel brands and the increased use of technology in the industry. After meeting with Alex Michaelis I took on this project to set up the operational side of a new venture in order to create revenue from disused spaces for pop up shops, fashion shows and events. ● Liaising with Legal team to draft license agreements and leases, working with developers to help them understand the benefits of Demospace. ● Advising on strategy for the building of the Demospace community, researching and analysing the market and developing the operational processes of the business. ● Creating the consumer pathway to be a simple and well managed process enabling a smooth operational infrastructure.
● During my time as head of operations for Chloe Richardson Studio, I worked closely with the CEO, the Co-chair of a global foundation. I was also in charge of a team of up to 10 freelance staff and numerous contractors. ● My role with CR Studio has been extremely diverse, as day to day I manage the running of various projects on behalf of a private family as well as with CR clients within the music industry. ● I would create targeted strategy for each of the freelance teams that we had in the office, including the management of styling, creative direction and procurement. Developing internal systems to automate day to day operations amongst staff and implementing strategies to maximise efficiency for both the Studio and the family. ● Weekly key trading, procurement and budget reports to relevant people both in London, the office in Geneva and with a the family accountancy team in Jersey. Analysing the success of our creative projects in order to adapt budget plans and come up with more effective solutions for procurement. ● Forecasting all the financial reports for the family for the upcoming year and setting KPI’s for my team accordingly. It was part of my work that our YoY cost saving margin was up 12% in 2016. This demanded I have strong excel and analytical skills. ● During my time with CR Studio, I have managed budgets of up to £3 million. These budgets are extremely sensitive and complicated. Leaving no room for errors to be made. During this time I have learnt to thoroughly problem proof my work. Setting key updates to go over the seasonal spend and to be in constant communication with the CEO at CR studio and the General manager for the Family. ● I was in charge of cataloging all the products owned by the family, which required a team of us to travel to Geneva and upload all product data, imagery and pricing information to a digital catalogue. ● In this role I’ve improved my skills at successfully managing several projects at once. Both managing my own time effectively but also to that build cohesive shifts for the rest of the staff. This occasionally has proved complicated, as i had to make sure people were using their working hours effectively and were completing a high standard of work. I was responsible for regular reviews and setting new objectives. I am able to maintain a calm disposition and positive outlook, even when working under extreme pressure for sustained periods.
Emblzn is a dropshipping retail platform which enables brands and manufacturers to retail their custom made products online. Launching in late 2012 we secured the TSB Prize for Innovation in Fashion (Mass Customisation Category). www.emblzn.com ● I was responsible for operations, strategy and business development of a new retail platform. My main role was focused on bringing on brands to the platform and working to structure the operational side of the business. Targeting roadblocks and trialling new initiatives. ● Working both online and on the ground I developed relationships with hundreds of designer/makers, brands and manufacturers to gain a deep insight into their processes, problems and business models. To this date I have onboarded to over 60 boutiques and brands. ● Bridging the gap between the technology and the brands and independent manufacturers to create internal logistics pathways. I worked a lot with the data from both the platform and the widget to analyse the consumer pathway and to dig deep into how consumers are using the platform.
● Developing and Maintaining relationships with wholesale procurement personnel at a range of high street brands. ● Managing orders, delivery and production schedules. Meeting and exceeding KPI’s for sales volume and quantity.
● Managing multiple brand orders through sales season, meeting clients, merchandising the collection, cataloguing products and negotiating delivery dates. ● Working at the multi brand showroom in Paris during fashion week to assist a variety of brands with their sales. Welcoming and assisting buyers and salespeople during their meetings.

The TSB (now Innovate UK) the UK's innovation agency, they set up an award for innovation in Fashion and with Emblzn I won the award and £30,000 for the category of Mass Customisation.
