About me
Simonetta is a London-based actress, filmmaker, and artist. She has gained extensive acting and musical training at The Private Conservatoire of Dezider Kardos in Presov, Slovakia. She has taken part in workshops focused on Comedia del Arte and Puppetry. Simonetta moved to London at age 18 after graduating to pursue her career in the performing arts. Since then she has appeared in a number of TV, film, and theatre productions. In July 2021, she launched a design brand called $imonettart, which is full of edgy ideas and absurd views of life. Her artworks were exhibited at the NIAS charity art exhibition and she managed to successfully sell every single piece. During the first wave of the pandemic, the artist created a homemade short film called Window in a cave, showing anxiety rising from isolation, which was selected by several international short-film festivals. The artist is now creating an insightful short film about invisible disabilities called Health is a privilege.

The four years of intense training for stage and camera with regular showcases and extraordinary theatre plays gave me the discipline one needs in the industry. Trained by Stanislavski’s method, I know how to work with a script and create an authentic character. Shaped my eye for detail and aesthetic feeling, this institution has built a strong foundation for my voice, body and soul that I as an artist need and continue to develop.
