About me
I am personable, self-motivated Account Manager with experience of working in a successful team environment combined with the ability to work on my own initiative. I am proactive and have the enterprise to develop solutions to challenging situations. I am currently employed as an Account Manager for a market leading beauty and therapy app called RUUBY, based in the Founders Factory in Kensington. After I completed a BA Honours degree in Fashion Promotion and Imaging at the University of Creative Arts, majoring in Photography and Styling, I was a Visual Merchandiser at Pandora Jewellery store for a year before going travelling for 6 months. Since then I have worked at Urban Outfitters as part of the Product team where I worked closely with the Visual Merchandisers and Buyers, and as an Account Manager at Flair recruitment, a successful beauty recruitment agency where I was responsible the South of England region.

    I am currently working for a start-up digital concierge called Ruuby, where I work as an Account Manager. I am in charge of managing all day to day client bookings for at home and hotel beauty and therapy services; this includes managing our 400 therapists’ diaries and bookings. Additionally, I am responsible for arranging events for Ruuby corporate clients, that involves coordinating with the client to plan the best treatments and therapists for their event needs and goals. This is often for leading brands and includes organising fashion shows, launch parties and in-house events as well as corporate office parties and weddings.

    Working as an Account Manager for a national recruitment agency, specialising in the supply of sale consultants to major department stores and leading beauty and fragrance brands. I was responsible for managing the South of England, the largest region in the company. I ensured the highest caliber of registered staff were provided at our client’s request, while maintaining the highest level of customer service. I communicated directly with each beauty brand, high street stores and our employees. I built strong relationships with our clients, area managers and consultants and ensured all information was relayed accordingly, especially in busy periods and under great pressure. Consequently, I learnt to be highly organised in a company with no room for error, prioritise effectively and to be time efficient. It was also responsible for managing and placing the most appropriate consultant for each job and interview new applicants if necessary. This enabled me to work independently and ensure clients’ job specifications were delivered and my personal and company sales targets were achieved.
