I am a highly motivated, organised and creative individual, in my final year of studying Media and Communications at Birmingham City University. During my time at university, I specialised in television production, with a focus on production management, alongside experience in PR and Events.
I have a passion for learning and expanding my experience/skill set. I
am eager to learn new skills as I enjoy a challenge.
Projects
- The Social NerdworkI am currently acting as the production manager of The Social Nerdwork is a nerdy internet quiz show that is fun, informal and weird. It focuses on more niche, deep lore, nerdy topics that are often left out of more mainstream shows while still remaining accessible to the casual fan. Currently, we are in pre-production of a full-length episode to premiere in May on The Social Nerdwork YouTube channel, however, the pilot is currently available to watch!

In my final year of study at Birmingham City University. During my time at BCU I have studied many areas of television production, both studio and location, technical and pre-production. I have acted as production manager on several productions and have become known for my organisational skills: often I am requested by my peers to help them make checklists of the paperwork they need to complete for their own projects. I also spent a lot of time conducting research into audience and fandom, specifically anime fandom.

At Macclesfield College, I learnt the basics of cinematography, lighting, post-production sounds and pre-production. It gave me a great base knowledge, I would later expand upon in my time at university. To add to this is also motivated me and gave me a great sense of organisation and drive.
