Siona Davis, Producer and Company Director at F5 Films was selected for the BFI Network x BAFTA Crew 2021. Most notably, Davis has developed and produced as part of The Uncertain Kingdom anthology series, a documentary called What’s in a name? This short was distributed by Verve on Amazon, itunes and BFIplayer. Davis has also produced a slate of short films and music videos, such as Last Leg, Klavierkunst and Cassia – Loosen Up that have screened at a plethora of festivals including Sheffield Doc Fest, London Short Film Festival and Smalls Festival. These shorts have featured named talent such as British Actor, Geoff Bell.
In 2021 she became Company Director at F5 Films, an award-winning production company developing a slate of TV and films with up and coming talent. The company focuses on altruistic storytelling from diverse voices. F5 values a mindful approach to story, people, culture and environment.
Throughout her producing career, Davis has honed her understanding of hundred-million dollar films through her work as a Coordinator in VFX. Her repertoire includes box office hits such as Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, Men in Black: International, Detective Pikachu and now School for Good and Evil for Netflix, directed by Paul Feig.
Davis has also seen the vast difference in scale of filmmaking through her work on independent feature films, both The Limehouse Golem and Robert Eggers, The Northman.
Before joining F5 Films, Siona Davis was recognised by BFI and BAFTA and has been selected for multiple masterclasses, development workshops and has been part of BAFTA Crew’s initiative for five years giving her access to a network of Britain’s most exciting talent.
