About me
Young professional and entrepreneur with experiences in brand management, brand strategy and marketing. In 2014, after working for 4 years in the financial and music industry combined, I have decided to pursue my passion and start a career in fashion. Seeing the gap in the headwear industry, combined with my love for hats, I founded a contemporary headwear label BYSJU. I successfully managed a crowdfunding campaign to kickstart the label and was responsible for the design, positioning, and promotion. Since then, the brand has launched several solo and collaboration collections, with its presence in Europe, US and Japan. Being able to expand my team, I became more focused on the brands digital strategy and the coordination of creative solutions, with building strong internal & external relationships as the brand’s creative director. This role incorporated idea generation, end to end coordination and the ability to communicate effectively with the aim of achieving pre-set goals and targets. Prior my entrepreneurial endeavour in fashion, I worked in music licensing for Sony and Universal at PPL. As the Business Analyst for the International Team, I was responsible for building effective processes within the business to drive revenue targets in and out. This role has been extremely valuable when running my own label as it taught me how to translate data from trends and reports into successful business decisions. Preceding the Business Analyst role at PPL, I worked for 2 years in Analytics and Sales at Bloomberg in London, just after finishing my MSc. at Kingston University Business School. During this period I was providing extensive analytics for customers worldwide, managing accounts and working on sales projects targeting already existing clients as well as new prospects. Being part of the Analytics department incorporated offering timely and precise analytical solutions to clients in a very fast evolving environment. The client-facing role in the Sales department enriched me with project and customer relationship management skills.

Actively involved in the development of the international initiative project called VRDB2, under the Societies' Council for the Collective Management of Performers' Right (representing 61 countries worldwide).
