I am a Creative Retoucher with 10 years experience.
I have started my professional creative career 12 years ago as a Junior Graphic Designer for Civiarts and after 3 years I have moved on into retouching.
After 6 years of working for a London-based studio and becoming Head of Retouch I decided on a different path and have worked freelance in studios across London and remotely for a variety of clients for the past 4 years.
My art education started in 1997 and I have achieved a diploma in Graphics and Fine Art and a BA Illustration degree. Traditional drawing and painting techniques have added a great deal of skill to my digital art and retouch abilities.
I have experience in all fields of retouch: creative, fashion, beauty as well as lifestyle and e-comm. I appreciate working with others but I am also confident taking responsibility and working independently.
I believe that working thoroughly and attention to detail is a key factor in retouching and I apply it to all my work.
Projects
- Artist In ResidenceDrawing as Artist in Residence, I tried to rearrange the reality of Hertford’s history, present, and future using realistic drawings and distortion of perspective as well as misplacement of objects. I took on a colorful Alan Davie approach, especially his shared vision with surrealists, and translated it into my own story. This story is connected creating 4m long panel treaded with 4 rivers that cross through the town.
