About me
As a designer with a passion for creativity, innovation and problem-solving, I have recently completed my master’s degree in Illustration and Visual media with an experience in varied range of design disciplines, including graphic design, lifestyle product design, visual arts, and photography. My goal is to use my education and experience to create designs that not only benefits the society but also provide meaningful and effective solutions. My approach to design is centered around empathy and understanding the needs of the end-user. I believe that design is not just about creating something visually appealing, but it should also solve real-world problems and make people's lives easier. As I continue to grow and develop my skills as a designer, I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.

I had the opportunity to work on a project focused on the Vivienne Westwood Retrospective at the V&A in 2004. As part of this project, I was tasked with creating three illustrations that highlighted Westwood's collection and the impact it has had on the fashion industry. To guide my artwork, I chose to focus on the three main themes of the retrospective - rebellion, activism, and glamour - and worked to incorporate these elements into my illustrations. Through extensive research, I was able to create unique and impactful artwork that effectively captured the essence of Westwood's collection and its significance in fashion history. This project allowed me to develop my skills in visual communication and curation, as well as expand my understanding of the role of fashion in society.

As a classroom assistant, I assisted my faculty member during a lecture at the V&A Museum, and I also conducted a workshop with the students. The workshop focused on the process of forming a narrative from the surroundings to create an abstract piece of art. My role as a workshop leader was to guide the students through the process of identifying elements in their environment that could inspire their artwork. I also helped them to develop their narrative and translate it into an abstract piece of art. Throughout the workshop, I provided support and guidance to ensure that the students were able to successfully create their own artwork. Overall, my contribution as a classroom assistant was to assist my faculty member during the lecture and providing effective teaching assistance and guidance to the students during the workshop.
