About me
Born in Portugal moved to the UK to study BSc Philosophy and Economics and an MSc Development and Security (International Relations) both at the University of Bristol. After graduation moved to London and temporarily sold my soul and worked as an Equity Research Associate. Quickly realised that wearing a suit to work is not my calling, and now I work as Strategy Associate at MEplace, a startup bringing childcare into the modern world. I am passionate about social impact, mental health, design, books and travelling. I am a proud generalist having held a variety of roles across industries and sectors: - Brand Manager for a youth organization in Portugal - Communications Executive at a social enterprise in Bristol - Founding team member of a volunteering scheme at a Bristol University connecting students with charities which required support in back office activities such as social media management, translation and fundraising. - Grants Fundraiser for an international development charity - Equity Research Associate in the renewables space - Strategy Associate for an Ed-Tech startup -Buddying web designer/developer.
