I am currently employed as a Diversity Advisor at Business In The Community, which is a Princes charity. My role requires me to manage corporate relationships and engage with member organisations by supporting them to deliver tailored practical advice on workplace gender & race equality strategies and practises. My current role requires me to travel offsite on a daily basis and to liaise with senior Directors of FT 100 and equivalent sized organisations. I deliver and coordinate: Peer Learning Forums; events management; convening roundtable discussions and bespoke training External speaking and presenting on key D&I policies and/or key trends Support members with benchmarking and awards completion Assessments of race & gender awards and race; wellbeing and gender benchmarking submissions Project managing signature deliverables such as the race equality mentoring circles programme.
I formed a social enterprise called Inspirational YOU in 2010 to empower women and young people. I have worked with and supported 1000’s of students, professionals and start-ups by providing them with the tools and networks to take their idea to the next level. This has all been done in a voluntary capacity and as a result, I have coordinated over 65 events and won numerous awards and accolades. I work with senior leaders and corporates who mentor, coach or sponsor job seekers.
