Gallery AssistantUnion Pacific Gallery
London, United KingdomInternship
As an assistant at the Union Pacific gallery, I’m responsible for administration, online marketing and the handling of the database. This role has provided me with more insight into the operational level of an art gallery, but I have also used initiative to propose my own personal project for the gallery, which involves collaborating with the Budapest-based Everybody Needs Art initiative, a progressive gallery agency committed to promoting Hungarian talent internationally, and working on shared projects such as an exhibition at the Budapest-space in the spring of 2018.

Education
BAKing's College London
London, United Kingdom
As a third-year Liberal Arts student at King’s College London, I have had the privilege of studying a broad range of subjects, ultimately focusing on History and Art in my further studies. My time at King’s has allowed me to expand my interest in art into an academic pursuit, reflected in my choice of dissertation in Caribbean Contemporary Art, and in the various modules in the History, Film and English departments that I have had the opportunity to study, such as Issues in Contemporary Art, Surrealism and American Underground Art and Cinema

Alongside this, I also chose to take courses in Curating, Art History and Art Management, in which I gained significant insight into the fundamentals of running a business in the arts, and studied the economic implications of those businesses. As part of my Art Management course, I researched business models of New York-based non-profit art organisations and proposed marketing strategies to improve their performance
