A dedicated individual with the drive and ambition to succeed. Having founded a University wide book-swapping scheme, viral YouTube video and limited edition clothing line, these achievements point towards a hard working individual with copious amounts of enthusiasm and creativity. The book swapping scheme was founded out of the frustration of purchasing expensive educational books, that were only used once. A proposition was sent into senior members of staff at the University of the Arts, London and was soon implemented across the University and the various collages. It is now an integral part of the University's educational offering. Alongside my various extra curriculum activities, I am also currently a Student Ambassador for the University of the Arts, London. As part of my job specification, I have been asked to speak in front of key Government officials on behalf of the University at the 2016 'Customer Service Excellence' conference, create promotional material for the University and also assist in the University's annual summer school.Locked Pro Plan feature
A University wide book-swapping scheme, created with the intention of providing prospective students with affordable, second hand books, used and sold by University alumni. The scheme was founded out of a frustration that students were spending a large proportion of their grants on books that they would only use a handful of times. I addressed key members of staff regarding my proposition and a meeting was set up to discuss and implement the scheme into the University's educational offering.
I have been a Student Ambassador for the last three years. I began the role at the end of my first academic year, helping out at one of the various summer schools. As part of my job role, I was asked to speak on behalf of the University at the Government approved 2016 'Customer Service Excellence' conference - where the University was awarded a Golden certificate. I was one of just two students who had been chosen to speak at this conference and was deeply humbled. I have also created promotional material for the University to use at Open Days and various other student facing events.
