About me

Jordan Paunova is a poet, photographer and author raised in Birmingham, UK and based in Manchester. For over ten years she spent her time working in kitchens and trained as a chef. Lost Soul found her voice through spoken word, creative projects, photography and music, and continued to perfect her craft in writing in the London arts scene. Her first third collection of poetry 'Smoking In Bed: A Manchester Story' was published last year, and she has continued to work on her first debut novel 'A Stranger Life.' Her fourth poetry collection 'Early Morning Kitchen' is due for release in July 2020. Her work is distinctive by its strong narrative voice, bold and unfettered view of the world around her, and strives to continue tackling equal rights, the human condition, feminism, mental health and the LGBTQ community. She presents her perspective with raw emotion, and describes in heart wrenching detail a documentation of her life, and the world around her.

  Mr Strange - Breaking BoundariesMr Strange is an up and coming artist breaking into the rap industry in a big way. Proudly gay, launching into drill music Mr Strange is fast becoming the voice for gay male artists in the music scene in the UK. This shoot was to promote his upcoming spoken-word piece on the death of a young black man because of his sexuality.

• Buymie - Menu DevelopmentAfter careful consideration of the demographics, we decided to create a blog that was aimed at women in the 28 - 35 bracket who wanted to create a dinner party for the summer with friends. We decided that going down the Spanish route would be a great idea. This menu was developed to be both vegan and completely allergen free.
• Eastern Promises - From HK to LDNPortrait of a young and upcoming photographer from Hong Kong, who has settled in the UK. Working across East London in the studio and on location.
