Hi ! I’m Sophie , a recent first class illustration and animation graduate from UCA Canterbury. My illustration work is playful , experimental and bright. I use a variety ways to make my work including screen printing , risograph and collage.

• The Korea DiariesA project from my third year at university, ‘The Korea Diaries’ is a interactive publication based on my travels to South Korea. The project involved 3 finished map illustration, a finished passport sized publication and a small knitted bag to carry the publication in.

My part time job outside of my studies. Working in the cafe of a creative environment has enriched my creative practice as I frequently required to have a knowledge about the gallery and it’s shop, alongside my main role as a waitress. My role also entails training younger staff me members , organising and handling stock and cooking and presenting food. This job role requires me to be organised and work well under pressure.
