I am a BA Fashion PR and Communications student at LCF, experienced in building brand-consumer relationships. Throughout this placement, I assisted in a wide range of sectors: design, production, finance, sales, customer service and merchandising. Communicating between wholesales and finance regarding stock distribution plus managing returns from customer service, to warehouse and production to the factory, allowed me to better my communication skills. I shadowed the process of newsletters and e-commerce, taking into consideration personalising content for different products; putting myself in the perspective of a consumer. Within the design sector, I styled showrooms for exclusive buying events. I viewed past trend shows which allowed me to engage with trend forecasting and how this is considered in the design stages.
