Working in hospitality is a fast paced and customer orientated role. During my time at Fiume I have prided myself on my high level of customer service, and my ability to work well in a pressured and busy environment. Alongside providing customer service in the restaurant I helped to organise the bookings for Christmas, the busiest time for the restaurant, and supervise the floor while the managers undertook admin based tasks.
At my role in Clinique, the client is the main priority. From the initial consultation to follow up phone calls to check on their experiences with a product, customer satisfaction is one of the core philosophies of the company. During my time with Clinique I have amassed significant product knowledge and the ability to sell these products based on such knowledge and working in a fast paced department store has helped me further improve my customer service skills.
Striving to provide excellent customer service on a day-to-day basis in a dual department store was central to my role at Laura Ashley. From creating displays and merchandising interior products for a launch event, to aiding customers in putting together outfits for a special event I have experienced numerous areas of retail. Daily duties included; checking and merchandising deliveries in store, completing floor plan changes and maintaining high standards on both home and fashion departments, completing telephone orders and sales and achieving my weekly target of opening Laura Ashley Master Card accounts.
Subjects include: International Politics, the Russian Revolution, Political Philosophy and the British Isles from 1200 – 1720. Alongside these subjects I also completed an independent 11,000 word research-based dissertation.
