About me

Hello, I am looking for a challenging and dynamic role within an organisation where I can begin to work towards fulfilling my aspiration to become a creative director. I am a highly creative individual with skills in illustration and graphic design. Aside from my studies in Creative Events Management at the Arts University Bournemouth, during which I planned 3 live events, and was in charge of marketing for each. I have experience designing and overlooking art work, liaising with graphic designers and printers, I was also in charge of the social media aspects, marketing campaigns and fundraisers. I have gained several years of experience in a variety of relevant environments, for example artist liaison, PR and stage management at festivals, working as a stylist for the vintage fashion company, Milly Bearfoot, as well as various work with a music agency / promotional events company. I also directed a photoshoot for music artist, Geode that appeared in DJ Mag. This was part of my internship within JR Events, as an artist agent assistant for Archetype Artists doing other job roles, such as creating contracts, SBIs and riders for artists, organising transport and accommodation for out of town events, creating promotional e-mails and press releases through MailChimp and material for social media. I have experience in a range of customer service roles, from regular bar and retail work to front of house and artist liaison at a variety of events and festivals. My experience has taught me how to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be adaptable to change. I maintain contact with the people that I have worked with previously and often get opportunities to contribute at their events. I have developed good administrative and interpersonal skills and have demonstrated a clear understanding of confidentiality, which has led to me being involved in closed meetings, creating minutes and being placed in charge of handling the contact lists of high profile clients. I am equally confident working in a variety of different situations, independently, as part of a team, or as a team leader. On a personal level, my work is also my pleasure. I keep up to date with the music and events industry by working at festivals doing various tasks from stewarding to management and site art. I enjoy photography and fashion and I am currently in the process of creating an arts collective in my spare time. Overall, I would describe myself as an outgoing, confident, organised and highly motivated individual. I have a common- sense, am hard-working and have a flexible approach to whatever role I am working in. If you are looking for someone creative, self-motivated, hard-working and reliable, please contact me.
