Responder Series 2: Art Department AssistantDancing Ledge Productio

During the production of the tv series, Responder, I helped out in the art department as the art department assistant. During my role, I created location survey plans, as well as exterior plans created from google maps to help plan out car movement and action. I picked graphics up from the printers and delivered them to either the prop store or set that was required. I also helped model up the locations on SketchUp and imported them into Twinmotion to create 3D visualisations of the space to help in the design process.

Passenger: Art Department AssistantSisters Production

During the production of the tv series, Passenger, I worked as a dailie role in the art department as the assistant. I helped buy dressing which was required, as well as deliver any dressing and props needed to sets. I helped create some background graphics on photoshop and organised the art department schedule as required.

During the university course, I learnt how to produce technical drawings for floor plans and elevation drawings. I also learnt how to create both white card models and rendered models from the technical drawings we created. For each project we created, I learnt how to create technical drawings, a model from the drawings, at least 3 rendered visuals and a graphic prop to develop an understanding of what is required within the art department during the production of films and tv.
