About me
Hey! I'm a creative with a varied background in charity campaigning, digital marketing and illustration. I consider myself quite multidisciplinary and don't like to limit myself to one industry, so I'm looking for a creative role where I can utilise my creative and organisational skills. As well as arts and culture, I'm driven by social justice, racial representation, mental health, and a desire for a more equal society. It's important that I work for an organisation that aligns with these core values. I love connecting with other creative individuals who are keen to make a positive impact in the world!

    We Will Not Be ErasedThis MA Illustration final major project was an ode to the many generations of Black women who have been under-represented, dismissed, and erased from mainstream Western culture. It was fuelled partly by personal feelings surrounding my own racial identity, and the desire to bring Black women to the forefront.     • Maintained social engagement through a variety of content and copywriting, tailored specifically to each platform and audience.     • Responsible for informing the campaign agenda, collaborating with team members to create strategies for fundraising, campaigning, and communicating young people’s mental health needs to decision makers in power. • Presented the campaign manifesto in a round table panel at a political party conference, gaining pledges from several MPs. • Understanding of on-going problems within the mental health care system • Corresponded with political pledge-takers via letter and email, encouraging them to commit to a rights-based mental health system. • Led the campaign’s communications sub-group and implemented growth strategies to social platforms to drive awareness, increase engagement from existing consumers, and draw in new audiences. • Translated complex political information, health statistics and government reports into clear, engaging content for young people. • Created content which utilized strong call-to-actions, emotive case studies and friendly tone of voice. • Collected case-studies from youth members as evidence to support the needs of campaign, compiling these into marketing material whilst adhering to data protection. • Produced ideas used in the creation of a digital hub, an online training platform for Rights Advocates. • Hosted an introductory workshop over Zoom, presenting the campaign progress, plans, achievements and agenda to young people, Youth Access staff and third-party organisations. • Made contacts with external charities, media and local MPs, to gain campaign support.
