Work history
    Assistant Designer Womenswear
Achievements: - Working closely alongside the Senior Womenswear Designer, I have been able to play a key role in the creation and evolution of the identity of Kin through research of trend, fabric, silhouette and design development that pushes the boundaries of what is expected from the customer. This has led to Kin being the best selling, and fastest growing womenswear own brand within John Lewis - Being entrusted to take control of the research, development, planning and design of jersey and outerwear within the Kin range. This includes going to Premiere Vision in Paris for jersey sourcing and shop and trend research, as well as development trips to Portugal, and ensuring that the range offers a modern yet diverse look. - Being kept on to work on the Kin brand after the end of my Graduate contract and then being promoted to Assistant Designer on a permanent contract - Being recognised within the business through undertaking extra projects outside of my job role; such as creating digitally animated invitations for strategy presentations and the John Lewis press day - Taking on the responsibility of creating thoroughly researched catwalk trend presentations for every season, which then are presented to the marketing team and leadership team - Kin being listed as one of the ‘Top ten under the radar brands’ by Lisa Armstrong in the Telegraph
