Hi, my name is Sophie and I am an in-house, product photographer based in Westminster.
Whilst completing my BA Honors degree in Fine Art from Newcastle University, I specialised in video installation and modern to postmodern photography.
I am a determined, creative, and result-oriented individual with experience in product photography, photoshop editing, image manipulation, and studio coordination.
I am passionate about every aspect of aesthetic design. Combine this with skills ranging from photography, filmography, and camera operation, to graphic design and visual merchandizing, I believe I can be an important asset to your company in the future.

In August 2017, I began a photography internship at one of the world’s foremost purveyors of ecclesiastical vestments: Watts and Co. As an entry level photographer I quickly learnt how to display, photograph, and retouch images at a professional level.
Alongside my photography, I assisted in all creative departments within the company. This was anything from creating websites using word press, to creating brochures and mock ups for exclusive vestments. After three months I was promoted to full time photographer and e-commerce assistant after our online sales had increased by 148%.
On top of being Watts and Co’s in house photographer, I also manage the web design and creative content for GilbertScott.org.

In January 2017, I left Newcastle and began working for an independant, luxury fashion retailer Young Ideas. This established company has won the Drapers independent awards twice and has recently expanded itself to three stores. Working for Young Ideas gave me the experience to work confidently amongst luxury designer labels, as well as the ability to provide excellent personal styling for exclusive cliental. My role was to offer a welcoming and bespoke service which included out of hours appointments, tailored alterations, building customer relations, daily reports to managment and driving sales. I was also able to use my design skills to promote the company through marketing and social media.
