Freedom US Stores: Worked along side the buyer with our international and US stores which involved sourcing and developing new product ideas whilst negotiating cost prices and delivery dates with our suppliers in order to maximize profit margin and sales. Freedom UK: Working closely with my buyer, design and merchandising teams to develop new and creative ranges for our customers, I manage, enquire and develop over 150 options per buy month for over 150 stores Critical Path: Managing the critical path month to month ensuring the smooth running of the buying and development process, maintaining schedules for the buyer and administration team so key deadlines are met. Trade: Every week I study each brands daily, weekly & monthly trade reports, pre-empting potential repeated styles and analysing the key factors and presenting the findings to the Head of Buying and Directors. Supplier Relationships: I have built strong relationships with our suppliers, allowing me to develop a strong persuasive and influencing style when speaking to them daily. Management: I currently manage a team of 6 BAA'S which I have helped train in their daily job roles. My main task is to ensure the day to day running of the administration for the brand is on point and to help with the teams progression plans. Achievements: -Helped build the product range, managed orders and delivery dates for the highly publicised store launch of our 5th Avenue store. -Currently in the process of working along side our HR department to develop a more streamline training programme of the whole company. -Recognised key up and coming trends for the brand, which were first on the high street.
Children’s Brand: Worked for Matalan, BHS, Boots & Toys R Us brands to manage over 1,500 orders from the beginning enquiry stage to the delivery of the stock into store. Supplier Relationships: Working and negotiating with suppliers via email and phone. Sample Management: Organised the sample cupboards for each brand and updated the company’s jewellery libraries for the partners and directors. Administration Task’s: Completed daily administrator tasks such as monitoring orders, sorting approval samples and sending approval comments. Achievements: -Helped launch 3 new brands within the company from the initial brand concept to product development and store launch. -Helped secure contracts with licensing brands for the company which was a first for the kids accessories departments.
For over 2 years I worked as a Senior Sales Assistant for Topshop. I managed the shoe and make up department to ensure we met weekly sales targets. As a senior memeber of the sales assisting team I ensured to encourage sales, promote strong customer serviced and acted as a support for the team.
Studied at the London College of Fashion, Fashion Retail Academy, Level 3 Diploma course within fashion buying, merchandising, retail operations and visual merchandising . After a year of studying I achieved a high merit grade.
Studied at the South Essex College on the Level 3 Diploma course in Art & Design. The course included art, graphic design, photoshop skill and fashion design. After 2 years of studying I achieved one of the top grades in my year groups- Triple distinction.
